I really love this hose. I’ve recommended it to a lot of family and friends. Unfortunately, the nozzle lasted only one season and there is a small hole in the inner tubing of the hose that developed about a year after purchase. It is not repairable as a normal garden hose would be. The hose is still usable for now, but requires us to use it and then turn the water off and empty it promptly as it leaks on our patio when the hose is full of water. I may purchase a different brand of expandable hose but will never go back to a traditional hose again.The only issue we have is that the one we bought (175 ft) is too long for what we need it for. Oh and it does tangle but that could be because its too long for what we need it for. But it was a good purchase.Loved this water hose but didn’t last very long.I have used two different brands of expandable hoses in the past that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately my neighbors dog got in the yard and chewed them up. ?So after searching online and seeing the ones I previously had, I went with this one because of the price and all of the great reviews. I thought I was getting a great deal and I purchased two 50ft hoses.Pros:- good price-Arrived faster than expected-Spray Nozzle works great-Material seems pretty strong and I believe it will last years just like my other 2-light weight, easy to carry. 2 year old easily carries it.Cons:The problem I'm having is that as soon as you squeeze the trigger on the nozzle the pressure in the hose lightens, as it should, and the hose begins to shrink back up. It begins to pull back while watering plants that are about 25 ft away from the water spigot. I tried using different spray nozzle but still the same thing. I literally have to hold the hose itself with one hand and spray with the other. I feel like it's a rubber band pulling back on me. Not pulling super hard, but enough to make me hold the hose as well as the sprayer just to water plants.So, with that being said, again I purchased two. I only returned the one I hadn't used. (I just don't like returning used items especially since the one I did use is now wet inside.). I figured it will be my car washing hose since I will only need to go about 10-15 feet away from the spigot.The return process was very simple and fast. Absolutely no problems and refund was quick. ?I put the amount towards the one I used to have that stretches and stays a true 50ft no matter what. I can turn on the water, stretch it out 40ft to my planters and leave it there while I do others things. Unfortunately, with this one, trying to set it down even 20 feet requires you to somehow hook it to something so it doesn't shrink back down or you just stand and hold it while you water.I only recommend if you are someone who normally holds the hose the whole time you are watering. However, if you plan to turn it on and set the house down, don't expect it to remain in place.(Fun Fact:. My kids loved when I connected it to their sprinkler. I would let the hose fill all the way up, take the sprinkle to the middle of the yard, then open the plug and it would pull the thing back to the patio. They had a blast watching the sprinkler "run across the grass" ?)I had an early failure: Surly a manufacturing mess up, horrific leak at he water faucet end. Contacted source and they requested a photo. EZ to comply. Received a replacement hose in less than a week. (I was out of town for a long weekend. IT WAS ON MY PORCH WHEN I RETURNED!) Thanks for the quick replacement.GThis is like no hose I have ever used. I saw my daughter using this hose at her home and I was looking for a new hose, so decided to try this one. The hose is lite and easy to move around. I bought two and would never go back to the old style hose.It’s a very good hose. Installs very easy and seems tough, so far no issues.Like how light it is. Easy to fold up in bucketThis is my 4th expanding hose, the concept is brilliant but up to now the products I have bought have been rubbish ??
